We are looking for an enthusiastic data scientist who enjoys continuous learning and who is not afraid of getting her/his hands dirty with the data. Team players preferred, but you should be able to work alone when necessary; most likely you will have a chance to try both setups.
As a Data Scientist you would help our clients make data-driven decisions for Fortune 500 companies and Hungarian blue-chip firms using classical machine learning, data analysis as well as cutting edge technologies with GenAI solutions.

Some of our recent projects:
We are working for one of the streaming platforms helping them predicting the popularity of a content in different countries and thus streamlining the marketing efforts.
We created a GenAI application for a steel manufacturing company that scans through new patterns and research papers to identify relevant innovations for improving quality and the manufacturing process.
We also developed a GenAI solution that can process financial information to identify trends and anomalies in the data, and find the potential root causes for such anomalies.

Job Description

What You Will Do Daily

Understanding and preparing data for analysis
Writing clean, well-documented and efficient code (mainly in Python)
Building machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection, etc. )
Presenting results to customers and/or community
Improving and refreshing existing data science products
Creating GenAI applications tailored to the client’s needs, environment and available data

Qualifications

Apply, If You Have

3+ years of experience in Data Science
Hands on experience in Python and data preparation techniques (additional R/SQL knowledge is an advantage)
Demonstrated knowledge of a version control tool (preferably git)
Deep understanding of data science and machine learning frameworks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Experience working with cloud based platforms, preferably Azure
Experience/good understanding of Generative AI Concepts and implementations
Experience with Generative AI technology platform offerings (open source Langchain/LlamaIndex, or other 3rd party platforms) and tools
Hands-on NLP technology experience is a plus
Team player attitude
Well-developed written and oral communication skills both in English and in Hungarian

Selection process:

1.Short conversation with Recruitment - We will briefly talk about your motivation and experience.
2.Online test via Hackerrank - You will have to fill our coding data science test in Python.
3.Interview with the data science team - Preferred to be in-person interview, but it can also be conducted online.
